Terms of Service
Last updated
These Terms govern your use of Crierbase’s website, app, bid alerts, API and MCP tools. By signing up or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Crierbase for a business or other organization, you confirm that you can agree on its behalf. “You” includes that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions? Email support@crierbase.com.
What Crierbase does
Crierbase helps businesses discover public procurement opportunities, currently focused on Georgia. We collect notices and documents from public agencies and procurement portals, extract and summarize information, match opportunities to your preferences, and send alerts. We are independent of the State of Georgia, the Georgia Procurement Registry, Team Georgia Marketplace, SAM.gov and the agencies whose notices we list.
Crierbase is not a procurement agency, bid-submission service or legal adviser. We do not submit bids for you, determine your eligibility, guarantee that you will win work, or promise complete coverage of every agency, notice, attachment or update.
Accounts and organization access
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate account information. Clerk manages accounts and authentication, including Google sign-in. Protect your credentials, invite only authorized teammates, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account, organization or integrations.
Organization administrators manage team access and billing. Removing a member or deleting your own user account does not necessarily close the organization or cancel its subscription. Keep a current administrator and billing contact for your team.
Your website, profile and AI suggestions
When you ask us to draft a profile from a website, you authorize us to fetch and read that site and relevant linked pages, including through the Notte cloud browser when needed, cache extracted text and send selected text to our AI provider. Only supply sites and information you own or are authorized to use this way. Do not submit confidential information, sensitive personal data or content you do not have the right to share.
We use AI/LLM services to draft profiles, interpret public bid documents and assess matches. You must review and correct your profile, certifications, work area and preferences. A suggested certification is not proof that your business holds it. AI summaries, inferred details, match scores and explanations may be inaccurate or incomplete.
You keep your rights in the information you supply. You give Crierbase permission to store, process and share it with service providers as needed to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. This permission does not transfer ownership of your business content to us.
Free trial and paid subscriptions
New organizations currently receive a 14-day free trial without a credit card. Trial time starts when the organization is created. The trial does not automatically become a paid subscription: you must separately complete Stripe checkout. If you purchase during the trial, paid billing starts at checkout; unused trial days do not defer the charge.
The State plan is available with monthly or yearly billing. The price, billing interval and any applicable taxes or discounts are shown at checkout. By purchasing, you authorize recurring charges through Stripe for the selected interval until you cancel. Yearly billing is a charge for the year, not a monthly installment plan. Plan limits apply to team members, alerts and API usage; consult the billing and usage screens for the limits on your organization.
Organization administrators can manage payment details and cancel through the billing portal linked from the app’s Plan & usage page. If you cannot access it, contact support. Cancel before your next renewal to avoid the next charge; check the portal’s confirmation for the cancellation effective date and remaining access. Unsubscribing from emails, revoking an API key or deleting your personal login is not cancellation of your organization’s plan.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise or we agree otherwise, charges are non-refundable and we do not provide automatic refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused service. Contact support about billing errors. We may restrict access after failed payments or when a subscription ends. We will give advance notice of changes to recurring prices before they apply to a renewal, so you can cancel first.
Alerts and what happens after a trial
You choose your alert settings and recipients. Only add people who are authorized to receive your business’s alerts. Delivery depends on crawl timing, source availability, matching, mail providers and your settings. We do not guarantee instant delivery, inbox placement or notice of every change before a deadline.
When a trial ends unpaid, full bid access and regular alerts stop. For up to 60 days afterward, we may continue matching and send limited teaser emails, at most eight rounds and at least three days apart, to show opportunities available with a paid plan. Teasers omit the title, agency, full summary and direct bid links; their links lead to billing until you subscribe. They do not extend your trial or create a payment obligation. Signed unsubscribe links let each recipient stop the alerts covered by the link; this does not cancel a subscription or affect teammates. Necessary account and billing communications may continue.
Verify bids with the agency
Always verify deadlines, time zones, mandatory meetings, addenda, qualifications, submission instructions and document completeness with the issuing agency. The agency’s official notice and instructions control, not a Crierbase summary, match or stored copy. A document may have changed since we collected it, and a bid shown as open may have closed or been canceled.
We store and serve copies of available public-agency bid attachments through time-limited signed links. Availability as a public record does not transfer copyright or other rights. You must respect applicable rights, agency conditions and laws when using or redistributing documents. Crierbase claims no ownership of agency records or third-party materials. Report a privacy or rights concern to support with the document URL and an explanation.
API keys, MCP and acceptable use
You may use the app, API and MCP tools for your business’s procurement research within your plan and applicable usage limits. Treat API keys like passwords, keep them out of public code and revoke compromised or unused keys. A connected MCP client or other integration can read data and perform supported actions using the access you grant. You are responsible for choosing and supervising it; its own terms and privacy practices apply to its handling of data.
Do not bypass authentication, paywalls or rate limits; access another organization’s information without permission; probe or disrupt the service; send spam or malware; or use Crierbase unlawfully. Do not resell access to Crierbase or bulk-republish our compiled database or generated content without written permission. This restriction does not give us exclusive rights over underlying public records you obtain independently. Except for your content and third-party materials, we retain our rights in the Crierbase software, branding and service.
Service changes and termination
We may change features, data sources and technical interfaces. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risks, nonpayment or a material breach of these Terms. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue, but urgent security or legal action may require immediate suspension. You may stop using the service at any time; separately cancel any paid plan to stop renewal charges. Contact support for account closure or data requests. Retention and deletion are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and limits on liability
To the extent permitted by law, Crierbase is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted service, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. You remain responsible for your bidding decisions and submissions. We are not responsible for third-party agencies, portals, documents, integrations or mail-provider failures.
To the extent permitted by law, Crierbase will not be liable for lost profits, lost contracts, missed bids or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Our total liability arising out of the service or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid Crierbase in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limit rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
Georgia law and resolving disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Unless applicable law requires a different forum, disputes will be brought in state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you and Crierbase consent to their jurisdiction. Please first contact support@crierbase.com so we can try to resolve a problem directly.
Changes to these Terms
We will post updated Terms here with a new last-updated date. For material changes affecting existing accounts, we will give reasonable advance notice by email or in the app, unless a legal or security reason requires a faster change. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using Crierbase and cancel your subscription before its next renewal. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
